Summer is half way over and almost time for Derek and Selena to start school again. We moved in our new place last weekend and almost done unpacking. Selena and Zachary love the stairs. This week going to register Selena for her new school. In the next couple of weeks we are going to work on our menu for our 3 month supply of food storage. I found some really awesome sites about food storage so I'm excited to start that :)

Happy Fathers Day to the most awesome and incredible Husband and Father!! We love you!!

Congratulations to Derek!!!! He passed his pharmacy boards and is now a pharmacist!!! Woohoo!! We are so proud of him!!

This was way to cute. Selena sat down and did her homework last night. Zachary grabbed his coloring book and markers and sat across from Selena at the table and started coloring while she was doing her homework. I took pictures to put in their scrapbooks. It was just way to cute how he tried to be like his big sister :)
This is Derek's last week of rotations, then back to school for 2 months then GRADUATION on MAY 2, 2011!!!

It has been so busy the last few weeks, I totally forgot to blog. Oops. Derek was accepted to medical school. Next summer we may be moving, closer to the med school that he was accepted in. We are very proud of him. He will do awesome :) I just got done making Apple crisp, and it smells wonderful. Zachary is watching his Barney right now. Selena did awesome on her report card. I'm so very proud of our family. They are the best family EVER. xoxo

Cell phone and 13 month old.

Not only does our almost 13 month old take apart my cell phone and knows how to take the battery out, but he now figured out how to unlock the inside (behind the battery) and take out the sim card. He is way to smart. I couldn't figure out how to put the sim card back in. Derek had to show me. LOL

Why is it you change a baby's diaper and 5 minutes later you get ready to leave and the baby poop's? There goes a new clean daiper and being 5 minutes late. LOL

Is Loving our two kiddies getting along so well together. Zachary just adores Selena, and Selena just adores Zachary right back. It is way cute how Selena is trying to teach Zachary everything :) This is going to be a great summer!!

This is Derek and Selena's last night at dinner conversation about Derek getting me a new car. Me telling Derek: "I have 98K milage on my car. I think I need a new car."
Derek: "That wont be for a while."
Selena (while raising her voice) :"You need to buy mommy a new car, she cooks dinner for you and does your laundry and cleans the house for us. She needs a new car, and you are going to buy it for her."
Derek: "With what money?"
Selena:"your money"
Derek: " I don't have any money, so what money are we going to buy a car with."
Selena: "you can buy her a car with your money."
Derek: "I don't have any money, so i can't buy her a car. Why dont you buy her a car with your money?"
Selena: "I am not using my money, use yours"
BAHAHAHAHA! She had me proud until the very last statement. haha

Blog blog blog :P

Derek is applying to DO and MD schools. Last night he was looking at the DO schools and there are only 2 here in FL and he can pick 3 schools. So he was looking at schools that are far enough south for me so we dont have to worry about me driving in the snow. I told him we can live in the snow just make sure I have a SUV with 4 wheel drive and chains on the tires and 6 months of food storage so I don't ahve to leave the house. I am really scared to drive in the snow, I have never done it before. I can hardly drive in FL during the rain. Oh, man.

Last night was the first night trying to get Zachary to fall asleep by himself in his crib. (usually I have to rock him to sleep) He was in there for about 15 mins just talking to him self. Then I didn't hear him so 5 mins later Derek went to check on him and he was sound asleep. Today I am trying the same thing with his nap, so far he has been in there for about 10mins just talking to himself and while just typing this i heard really loud banging coming from his room so I just went in there and he was bangging his bottle on the wall, (the bottle was empty) I took the bottle away now he is crying. So, I am going to go rock him to sleep for his nap and hopefully tonight he will go to bed by himself again. Oh, he just stopped crying.

So, we took Zachary to the After Hours/ Weekend Pediatrics walk in clinic today. Our lil man does not have the Chicken Pox. He is allergic to the Amoxicillin that he was on for his ear infection. We have to have a follow up with his PCP in 3 days. So, for right now he is on some meds called Oreprad. Gotta love being a parent :)

Zachary our youngest we think now has Chicken Pox. We are taking him to the walk in clinic this afternoon. And our oldest Selena who is only 6 loves the "silly bandz" that are very popular and now the fun begins with being "in style" and learning all kinds of things about disease's.
